Identity
Opened in 1968, Greenhills is an independent, non-denominational, coed, college preparatory school, enrolling grades 6–12.
 
Campus
Greenhills is located on 30 acres in Ann Arbor, including a second growth wooded area with trails, a stream and a nature preserve.
 
Enrollment
Approximately 550 students in grades 6–12 are enrolled at Greenhills School; 225+ students attend middle school and 325+ students are in the upper school.
 
Faculty
51 teachers have advanced degrees, nine having earned their Ph.D. The school employs 71 teaching faculty.
 
High Scores
The classes of 2009–2011 earned average scores of 667 (Math) and 657 (Critical Reading) on the SAT I and a Composite score of 29 on the ACT.

Athletics
Greenhills teams have earned a combined 19 state championships.  In the past three years, more than 40 athletes have earned All-State honors.
 
Tuition
2012–13 tuition is $19,290 for students in grades 6–8 and $19,680 for grades 9–12.
 
Financial Aid
Nearly $1,000,000 in need-based financial aid was awarded to 18 percent of the student body. The average award was $10,716.
 
Contributions
Since 1993, more than $18,500,000 has been contributed to Greenhills’ Annual Fund, Auction, Endowment and Capital Campaigns to support the school.
 
Fine & Performing Arts
The Fine & Performing Arts Department offers concerts, theatrical productions and art gallery showings throughout the year. Fine and Performing Arts events include:

Greenhills School is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and offers the following sports:
