Opened in 1968, Greenhills is an independent, non-denominational, coed, college preparatory school, enrolling grades 6–12.

Location

Enrollment

Approximately 500 students in grades 6–12 are enrolled at Greenhills School; 200+ students attend Middle School and 300+ students are in the Upper School.

Faculty

54 teachers have advanced degrees, 11 having earned their Ph.D. The school employs 74 teaching faculty.

High Scores

The classes of 2003–2008 earned average scores of 667 (Math) and 655 (Critical Reading) on the SAT I and a Composite score of 29 on the ACT.

Greenhills School has the largest percentage of National Merit Semi-Finalists and AP Scholars of any school in Michigan.

Number 1-ranked athletic program in Class C two out of the past three years, as ranked by The Ann Arbor News.

Tuition

2009–10 tuition is $17,430 for students in grades 6–8 and $17,780 for grades 9–12.

Financial Aid

Nearly $954,000 in need-based financial aid was awarded to 19 percent of the student body. The average award was $9,628.

Contributions

Since 1993, more than $18,500,000 has been contributed to Greenhills’ Annual Fund, Auction, Endowment and Capital Campaigns to support the school.
