Greenhills Students Make A Difference
Greenhills Auction is supported by the school's sophomore students who volunteer each year to run the carnival-type games at the Family Preview Party. On Auction Night, they serve hors d'oeuvres and the four-course meal, greet guests, check coats, and help with check out. Alumni return each year to help with raffle ticket sales, as well as to greet guests.
Greenhills Student's Advisory donations play a large role in the fundraising aspect of our Auction. Giving of their own time and effort empowers students in a positive manner and promotes student leadership in our community.
One unique feature of our student's participation is our Advisory Community Awareness Projects. This type of advisory donation provides an opportunity for Greenhills students to put into action the mission and values of the Greenhills community. Auction guests make financial pledges to the school in support and recognition of the advisories efforts, fueling the success of the Auction. Advisory donations contribute approximately $10,000 to the total funds raised at the auction.
