What's iCalendar?

iCalander stands for internet Calendar. It is a special format that allows you to easily add a calendar or select events / dates from the Greenhills School website to your own personal calendaring application. Any program that supports the iCalendar standard can accept iCalendar files.

What programs support iCalendar?

Practically all modern calendar applications or a program that includes a calendaring feature can accept an iCalendar file. These include: If you don't have a calendar program on your computer, Mozilla Sunbird is a free download and easy to get started in. Please note Greenhills School cannot provide support for Mozilla Sunbird.

How do I use iCalendar files on the Greenhills website?

Using an iCalendar file is easy. Throughout the Calendar of Events section you will see links titled "Add this month to your calendar" or "Add this event to your calendar." When you click this link your web browser will open a save file dialog box that gives you the option of saving or opening the iCalendar file. If you select 'Open', then 'Save', the event will be added to your default calendaring application! Its that easy! Get started now! »
