Arts Support Organization (ASO)
The ASO's mission is to support the arts programs by assisting with ancillary tasks such as organizing receptions for performances and showcases, assisting with costumes, props, sets, or driving to competitions. There are approximately 20 liaisons in the middle and upper schools; each liaison works with a particular arts group. These include: forensics, orchestra, choir, jazz band, visiting artists, the McDowell writing program, and the middle and upper school's drama productions. The ASO encompasses virtually all parents whose students are enrolled in these activities and classes.
