Volunteer at Greenhills School

Greenhills provides parents, Greenhills School Photo students and faculty with many avenues for volunteering; each task cements our community's bonds.

Greenhills parents, students and faculty members give generously of their time. Their active volunteering fuels the success of a number of Greenhills programs. The Greenhills Parent Organization and the Parent Ambassador Committee help us to build a powerful sense of community—so essential to the core of the school. The Athletics Booster Club and the Arts Support Organization offer invaluable assistance to our athletics and performing arts programs respectively. The Auction and Preview Party Volunteers drive this annual fundraising event, which generates funds to enhance student life through curriculum development and subsidize our scholarship program, and the Parents' Committee for the Annual Campaign is pivotal to the school's ongoing fundraising efforts.

Volunteering at Greenhills helps parents get to know other parents, and develop life-long friendships with faculty members, and allows them to observe first-hand the multiple ways in which teachers interact with students outside of the classroom, as they coach, act in the musical, Greenhills School Photo sponsor clubs and other activities, volunteer for dances and community service programs—in short, spend time with kids. You will find that many Greenhills teachers are fellow Greenhills parents as well.

Greenhills is a giving community. The school has much to give its students and parents. Its capacity to do that is immeasurably enhanced by the many generous ways in which the various members of our community volunteer their time, talent and resources. Greenhills is a distinctly stronger school because of the manner in which parents involve themselves in its life.
