Community BuildingTo encourage the spirit of belonging and connectedness in middle school, students convene regularly for grade level meetings and middle school assemblies. These informal gatherings, often led by students, invite individuals to make announcements, share sports scores, perform, and present topics of interest and relevance. This time is also used to address the middle school on broader community-wide issues of stewardship, responsibility, and respect. In the best sense, these moments foster a culture of community and remind students that they are connected to something larger than themselves. <<BACKSnapshot of Middle School Message from the Head of Middle School Middle School Team System Community Building Signature Middle School Programs Activities NEXT>> |
