The Muslim Student Association invites members of the Greenhills community to join for Iftar, the breaking of the fast, in the school dining room. This event will allow you to sample a variety of traditional foods and celebrate with our Muslim students. The breaking of the fast happens daily at sunset during the holy month of Ramadan, a time for reflection and celebration in Muslim communities. The MSA invites Greenhills community members to fast with Muslims from sunrise to sunset on that day. Traditionally, fasting means abstaining from food and drink, including water, during daylight hours.
