‘The Children’s Hour’ Premieres Tonight

Starting tonight, the upper school will perform the American theatre classic The Children’s Hour, a mature play not typically performed in high school.  This cautionary tale about the telling of a lie shows the damage created by slander and a gullible public, too willing to condemn without searching for the truth.

“The cast performing The Children’s Hour aspires to make people think about the power of their words, to make people think before they purposefully say or do something malicious,” says cast member Katherine Krauss.

Directed by Nancy Heusel, The Children’s Hour will be performed Friday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 students/seniors, $10 adults. For more information, please call (734) 205-4098.
