Lower School and Middle School Campus

In This Section

Two Campuses. One School.

Where students learn matters. Schools bring kids together, shape conversations, spark curiosity, and encourage collaboration. That’s why every corner of our two campuses are designed with intention, inviting students to discover who they are and who they might become.

Each campus offers a just-right-sized, developmentally attuned environment that grows along with our students. From the joyful energy and intimacy of the lower school to the independence and dynamic pace of middle and upper school life, every space is part of one continuous Greenhills journey. It’s a unified experience, pre-K through 12th grade, where relationships deepen, learning builds, and students are known, supported, and inspired at every step.

Across the street, County Farm Park feels like an extension of our campus, offering trails and fields where students can explore nature, observe seasonal changes, and learn to care for the world around them.

Inside, purpose-built spaces nurture creativity and connection. Students shape ideas in dedicated art studios, build and invent in a vibrant maker space, and discover the joy of communication in modern and classical language rooms.

Community spaces throughout the building invite students and teachers to gather as a grade, or as an entire lower school, fostering a strong sense of belonging from the very start of each child’s Greenhills journey

In the Campbell Center for the Performing Arts, students step into the spotlight, discovering their voices through music, theater, and storytelling. In addition to athletics, our two gymnasiums, strength training room, and turf field are used for wellness classes year round and allow students to establish healthy habits when it matters most.

Every space at Greenhills, from our studios to our science labs to our outdoor classrooms, is designed to encourage intellectual risk-taking and foster meaningful connection. Whether a student is sculpting clay in art studio, rehearsing a monologue on stage, refining a robotics project, or pausing between classes to laugh with friends in a sunny alcove, our campus invites them to engage deeply with their learning and with each other.

Greenhills athletic facilities

Athletic Facilities

Athletics have the power to teach lessons that last a lifetime—about teamwork, perseverance, and the deep satisfaction of giving your best. Our athletic facilities provide students with the spaces they need to challenge themselves, support their teammates, and discover the confidence that comes from working toward a shared goal.

Our two gymnasiums and strength training room are alive with energy, whether hosting a morning workout, a basketball or volleyball game, or bringing the school together. Just outside, a state-of-the-art turf field and track, eight tennis courts, softball field, and additional fields for practices and games offer student-athletes room to push themselves, refine their skills, and experience the pride of hard work paying off.

The Learning Center

Every student deserves the opportunity to thrive as a learner, and the Learning Center is an integral part of making that possible. It provides individualized support that helps students develop the strategies, skills, and confidence they need to meet the demands of a challenging academic program. Whether working on time management, study techniques, or content-specific tutoring, students partner with experienced learning specialists who know them well and are committed to their growth.

The Learning Center is not just a resource for those who need extra help—it is a place where students of all abilities can strengthen their learning habits and discover how they learn best, empowering them to take ownership of their education at Greenhills and beyond.

Environmental Stewardship

Our campus reflects a commitment to caring for our world, serving as a living classroom where students see sustainability in action and learn that stewardship begins with the choices we make each day. A green roof, a wind turbine, and geo-thermal heating systems are not just campus features, they’re part of the way we teach students to care for the world they will inherit.

Even lunchtime, with meals prepared by Plum Market as part of an entirely compostable lunch program, ensures that nourishing our students also nourishes the earth. These choices, large and small, build a culture of environmental awareness and action, encouraging students to shape a future that is sustainable, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the community around them.
