New Family

Welcome to Greenhills!

We are thrilled that your family is joining the Greenhills community! While your journey here is just beginning, know that students and parents become part of our school for a lifetime. We look forward to getting to know your student and watching them grow into an individual who is curious, thinks deeply, explores creatively, acts with empathy, and works to better the world.

As you get to know Greenhills, you’ll likely have many questions — and we hope you will use this page as a starting point for answers. Below, you will find next steps, key dates, and resources to guide your transition. If you don’t find an answer to a question, please reach out to the Office of Enrollment Management at enrollment@greenhillsschool.org.

NEXT STEPS

Lower School Families

1. Indicate Your Interest in Before- and After-School Care
Classroom doors open at 8am, with classes beginning at 8:15am. Students may arrive on campus as early as 7:30am for complimentary before-school care.  At the end of the day, junior kindergarten and kindergarten students are dismissed at 3pm and will be signed into after-school care beginning at 3:15pm. Students in grades 1–5 are dismissed at 3:15pm and will be signed into after-school care at 3:30pm. After-school care is available until 6pm each day and includes access to a variety of clubs and enrichment opportunities. The cost is $10 per day. If you anticipate using before- or after-school care, please indicate your interest by completing the form below.

2. Reminder: Lunch Provided Daily
Prepared by Plum Market, and included in tuition, students enjoy a healthy, delicious lunch every day. As the next school year approaches, we will ask you to share more information about your students dietary preferences (kosher, halal, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) and allergies.

3. Coming Soon: Summer Things to Know and Do
In mid-July, you will receive a link to our Things to Know and Do webpage. There, you’ll find everything you need to prepare for the year ahead, including the updated family handbook and policies, transportation information, calendars, and forms to complete before the school year begins.

Middle and Upper School Families

1. Indicate Your Course Selection (due April 24, 2026 for Incoming 6th–9th Graders)
The Academic Office will begin building schedules for the 2026–2027 school year soon. In order to start this process, we ask that you complete the applicable survey(s) linked below by April 24, 2026. Please note that math placement for middle school students will take place on May 16, 2026.

2. Complete the Athletics Interest Form
If your student is interested in participating in athletics, please complete the applicable form linked below. Completing the form will not lock your student into participating in any sport, but it will allow you to stay in the loop on team updates. Middle school athletics begin on September 1, 2026, and upper school athletics begin on August 10, 2026. All students who sign up for a team will be contacted by the coach before the season begins.
