HOW TO APPLY
Our holistic admission process considers each prospective student's entire application to get a well-rounded picture of who each student is -- both in and out of the classroom. We care about more than just your academics; we also care about your character.
The following elements are part of the application review process:
The Greenhills Application (Personal Information Form)
Two teacher recommendations; preferably from a Math and English/Language Arts teacher
Past two years of transcripts from school(s) previously or currently attended
Greenhills visit day and interview
Official testing (optional)
APPLICATION DEADLINES We are now accepting applications on a rolling basis.
Applicants to our December 13th early deadline will receive a decision by the end of January, and families who apply to the regular deadline, January 23rd, will hear back in early March. To guarantee you receive a decision at these times, all application materials must be submitted by the deadlines, including applications for financial aid. Early applications are best suited for families who may have specific reasons to know about their acceptance to Greenhills early, such as other school contracts, a sibling already attending Greenhills, or potential family moves. After our January deadline, applications are considered on a rolling basis based on a variety of factors including space in our classes.
Every applicant visits Greenhills for a full day, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We will pair you with a current student and you will get a chance to shadow classes, see our clubs, and be a member of our community for the day.
During your visit you will also have a chance to interview with a member of the admission team.
There is no standardized test requirement at Greenhills for admission. At Greenhills we know that testing is only one way to consider a students skills and abilities. Therefore, the SSAT is an optional piece of the application. Please go to SSAT online to register for the test if you would like to submit your score for consideration.
If you need a fee waiver for the SSAT, please reach out to the Admission Office.
