’14 grad, Tufts frosh earns public service honor

Greenhills alum Sarah Gargaro ’14 already is making waves as a freshman at Tufts University in Boston, where she has been named one of 17 Tisch Scholars at the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service.

The college’s flagship program selects freshmen and sophomores to help them build civic and leadership skills by partnering with local organizations. The goal is to develop a new generation of deeply involved citizens. Current Tisch Scholars are working on projects as disparate as youth literacy, filmmaking, and social entrepreneurship.
