Christian Weder ’02 to Run Grand Canyon to Benefit Pet Charity He Founded
On May 16, Christian Weder ’02, a third-year veterinary graduate student at MSU, will run the north rim of the Grand Canyon for IRONDOG, a charity he co-founded earlier this year to raise money for animals whose owners can’t afford medical treatment for them at the MSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
IRONDOG’s inaugural run in East Lansing on March 13 raised $5,420. To date the charity has assisted two dogs who needed costly medical attention.
