Pulitzer Prize Winner to Visit Greenhills

Pulitzer prize winning journalist and Greenhills alum Michael Oneal will kick off this year’s Annual Day activities.  Oneal, a senior business writer for the Chicago Tribune, covers a broad array of subjects ranging from global economics to child-product safety. He has led a number of award-winning projects for the business section and was a member of the six-person reporting team that won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Journalism for a series of stories on unsafe toys that helped focus public awareness on the issue, leading to major changes at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. He has reported in China, India, Europe and throughout the United States.

Annual Day, January 25, is a student led and planned event.  This year’s theme is “Finding Your Calling.”  For more information about Michael and all our Annual Day speakers, visithttp://greenhillsschoolannualday.blogspot.com/
