Sierra Patton ’12 Signs Letter of Intent with MSU

Senior Sierra Patton recently signed a letter of intent to play field hockey for Michigan State next fall.  A goalie, Patton played field hockey all four years at Greenhills as well as with the elite Futures program since 2009. She was one of four field hockey players recruited nationally by MSU.

“Our newest member of the goal keeping unit, Sierra, brings enthusiasm, energy, a hard working mentality and a passion for Michigan State field hockey,” says MSU field hockey coach Helen Knull.

“Sierra is a terrific athlete,” adds Greenhills athletic director Meg Seng.  “We will definitely miss her here on the Greenhills fields and are delighted to have the opportunity to watch her compete at the collegiate level. We wish her all the best.”
