ENROLLMENT StepS

There are a few things we need from you to get started with class schedules, course placements, and athletic information. Please complete the items listed below ASAP, and direct any questions to [email protected].

  1. Language Placement

We offer Chinese, French, Latin, and Spanish for students in the Upper School. If you have already taken a language, and would like to continue studying it, you can contact a member of the language department listed below to determine placement in the correct level.

  2. Math Placement

Math placement for incoming Upper Schoolers is based on their previous course work, grades, and letters of recommendation. Students must complete a sequence of Algebra I/Geometry/Algebra II as a graduation requirement. Please indicate your course preference in the Course Selection forms below.

  3. Incoming 9th Graders: Register for Courses

Make your course selection by completing and submitting the form below. You can use the Course Catalog linked under the pictures below to help you choose your courses.
    > Complete the course selection form

  4. Incoming 10th and 11th Graders: Schedule an appointment with your Grade Dean

Incoming 10th and 11th graders should use the form below for course selection. Please feel free to reach out to your Grade Dean (contact information below) for guidance on your course selection. They are looking forward to working with you closely over the coming months!
    > Return your completed course selection form to the Academic Office

  5. Athletic Interest Forms

High School is a wonderful time to branch out and try something new or keep up with something you love. This will not lock your student into participating in any sport, but will allow you to stay in the loop on team updates.
    > List of Athletic Offerings
    > Indicate your student's athletic interest here
    > Find out more about fall sports pre-season
    > Find coaches contact information here

  6. Submit your student's updated physical

All students that plan to participate in athletics need to submit a physical form completed on or after April 15th, 2023. Completed forms are required by the first day of practice.
    > Download a copy of the MHSAA Athletic Physical Form

Hold onto your completed form to upload it to GryphOn, our online system. Information on how to access GryphOn to come this summer. If you have questions, please email the athletic department at athletics@greenhillsschool.org
