Middle School Model UN team brings home accolades

3cf4bcad-7bdc-44af-a8e9-b0f71a62b7cbThirteen Greenhills middle school students journeyed to Michigan State University this month to take part in the Red Cedar Model United Nations Conference — and they didn’t come home empty-handed.

The team earned the Outstanding Small Delegation Award, while 6th grader Anshi Pacha and 8th grader Brady Noble also won individual Outstanding Delegate awards. Sixth graders Sophia Rich and Yasmeen Ogaily were also recognized for their work.

Middle school teacher Amanda Harper coordinated the visit, and thanked colleagues Kate Vane for help coaching, Jenna Goldenberg for accompanying the team to East Lansing, and upper school students Nikhil Chamarthi, Bonnie Liu, Haley Mandel, and Andy Xie, who all helped prepare the younger students. Well done, all!
