Both Girls' Golf and Boys' Tennis Going for State TitlesIt’s a big weekend for both boys’ tennis and girls’ golf.

After winning regionals at Gross Isle on Friday, the boys’ tennis team will try for its fourth straight Division 4 state championship this weekend at Jenison High School.  Led by Coach Eric Gajar, the boys’ team includes singles players Mithun Saha ’13, Thane Feldeisen ’12 and Zach Martell ’15, and doubles partners Chang Che ’13 and Connor Kaczynski ’13, Sean Saint ’12 and Matteo Todisco ’13, Neil Sykes ’14 and Nick Sandhu ’15, and Sam Markel ’12 and Adhi Rajaprabhakaran ’13.

Both Girls' Golf and Boys' Tennis Going for State TitlesThe girls’ golf team will also be competing for a state title this weekend after finishing second at regionals last week.  The girls’ team consists of Annie Aldrich ’13, Caroline Apley ’14, Rae Schueller ’13, and Megan Doherty ’12.  The team is coached by Bill Ammerman.

“Whether they bring home a trophy or not, we’re proud of both teams’ accomplishments this season,” says athletic director Meg Seng.
