This Friday, October 14, Greenhills will host the 12th annual ACTivate the Cure event, an exciting and unique fundraiser that showcases Greenhills’ fine and performing artists through a live show and silent art auction.  This year’s producers, Allison Hogikyan ’13, Marina King ’12 and Catherine Cypert ’12, say they hope to raise $2,500 for the U-M’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.

“We have quite a lot of beautiful art and incredibly talented artists- from dancers to poets to singers to comedians,” says Hogikyan.

The art show/silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, and the performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. The silent auction will remain open until Friday, Oct. 21.  The suggested donation price for those attending the performance is $10, which will all go to the University of Michigan’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.

“This show takes in a lot of talent, and gives back an incredible show, as well as tremendous support for the Ann Arbor community,” says King.
ACTivate has been an annual event at Greenhills for eleven years, and has raised over $25,000. [/two_third]
