Director Nancy Heusel Closing Curtain on Greenhills Career

After 40 years and 55 plays, veteran director Nancy Heusel is retiring from directing Greenhills plays.  Her final show will be Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream this weekend.  Shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  A special reception will be held in Heusel’s honor in the Campbell Center lobby immediately following Saturday’s performance. The entire Greenhills community is invited to attend.

“I’ll miss the students the most,” said Heusel at a rehearsal last week, adding that she’ll also miss the “magic” that transpires from the chaotic start of a play to it finally coming together by the end.
“It’s never failed me yet,” said Heusel with a laugh.
