Four bring home awards at Southeast Michigan Science Fair

Four students were recognized for their outstanding projects at the Southeast Michigan Science Fair held at Washtenaw Community College March 8 and 9.

Winning awards were:

Kelsey Snyder — Grand Award Honorable Mention; 2nd Place Engineering/Physics Category; Xigma Xi Senior Division Award; U.S. Army Most Outstanding Physical Science Award; and Yale Science and Engineering Association Award

Henry Aspegren — 3rd Place Microbiology & Biochemistry Category

Ally Hogikyan — 3rd Place Chemistry Category

Alex Turner — Honorable Mention Computer Science & Mathematics Category

Also participating with superb projects were Shahzaib Chughtai, Lang Delancey, and Caleb Nusbaum.
