Students Travel to Canada for We Day

Twenty-two students, three faculty members and head of school Carl Pelofsky ventured to Kitchener, Canada for We Day today, an annual youth empowerment event that brings together thousands of youth for a day of inspiring speakers and performances.

“The idea behind We Day is to motivate students to take action in service and be involved,” says service learning coordinator Alyssa Friendly.

The line-up at today’s event featured actor Martin Sheen, a performance by One Drop (a Cirque du Soleil founder’s initiative), among many others.
